dont know whats funny anymore
gotta force myself to laugh
look around and all i see
is the same old faces
same shows on tv

gotta force myself to laugh

take a look out the back window
watch what i just missed
could the world go by in a second?
could i miss every bit?

gotta force my eyes awake
to stare and really see
maybe a smile is a good enough start
instead of forcing out a laugh
